Im back on the blog today with another fashion post. I have to say the last one featuring Hunkemöller seemed to go down a treat with you guys!

Damart, an online fashion store recently got in touch to see if I would like to review one of their clothing items. Personally, I had heard briefly of Damart before but I had never really spent much time on their site and had never placed an order.

Damart is a French company, founded in 1953 by three brothers who were made famous by developing and later patenting ‘Thermolactyl’. This is a unique man-made fibre that can provide warmth without the need to layer up! Genius!

Damart pride themselves on continuously changing their collections to inspire fun, vitality, innovations and care! Sounds good to me! I guess that’s why they ship to over 10million customers worldwide?!

After scouring the website trying to think of what to pick I decided to go for an item that was practical and that I could get a lot of wear out of. I eventually settled on a 2 in 1 sweater (see below)

I figured it’s a smart/casual piece which would see me through the transition of winter to spring. I could wear it with jeans and boots or even a nice pair of flats for work.

The item arrived in no time at all and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality! The sweater is so thick but with a bit of stretch too! This is a really heavy duty knit more suited for winter…but I guess we have winter all year round now eh? Thanks storm Emma 🙄

I love the collar detail, it’s nice having it built into the jumper. I have a couple of tops like this and they are so handy! They are an easy way of looking a bit more dressy and put together. Sometimes I find, wearing a shirt under a jumper can be uncomfortable and it doesn’t always sit right. However with an item like this you can’t go wrong!

Having now tried the item and seen how it wears (and washes) I am really keen to try more from the brand! The price point is fantastic at £29 as the item is a real quality piece! I know I am going to get a lot of wear out of it for years to come and I know it will last which is what you want from a wardrobe basic such as this!
